...into the mix
An exploration of the interface between composed and improvised music, and be
tween contemporary classical music and improvised Middle Eastern dance.
Three Sunday events at The Warehouse including an evening concert at 7pm and a
pre-concert recital at 5.30pm, celebrates Sounds Positive’s twenty third year of
commissioning and performing new British music. Sounds Positive presents a
scintillating series of performances exploring the interface between composed and
improvised music, and between contemporary classical music and improvised
Middle Eastern dance. Seven premiers, cross-cultural dialogue, live dance,
electro acoustic music - all come into the mix.
